I am bad at this.
When I was young, my family encouraged us kids to keep a journal. And I was very faithful at writing almost every day as a matter of fact. I kept up the writing for many years, even after I had children of my own.
And truthfully, I have looked back on some of my entries and have been very glad that I have a record of "that day" or " that recipe " or "that event " that I wanted to tell a family member about or even a friend.
So if you wouldn"t mind, I am going to write a few things down. :-)
School has started , a few weeks ago , and I kept thinking about how quickly times has just flown by. Our oldest grandchild is 15 and our youngest grandchild turned 2 in August.
I get such a thrill playing with them and just talking to them and seeing how they look at the world from their young innocent eyes.
Everything is so beautiful and all day long they will discover something new.
HOWEVER I have to admit I am a bit anxious for all of them ( 10 in total ) to be going to school and being among others that are looking at the world a bit differently. No judgement by any means just seeing things that are not seen in the homes of my young grandchildren.
I know they need to be prepared and able to defend their beliefs and stand up for their personal space and hopefully ward of bullies.
I see how my three children ( and spouses ) are doing such a exceptional job and I should just relax and enjoy the time I am able to Skype or Facetime with them
It sure is a lot different with my own. Good grief the worry about the grandchildren sure takes a lot of energy .
I can just pray that all is well with them.
How I get some of my stresses out is crafting and yard work.
I am not able to play in the yard like I used to and we know why lol lol lol
I am making soap !! I enjoy working side by side with my dearest friend that I am fortunate enough to call my husband. VIc is amazing and I am truly blessed. And believe it or not, we actually like each other lol lol lol
I was asked the other day by a customer "Do you like working with your husband ?". I said yes, of course. Then she asked "Don't you get sick of seeing just him all day long?" I said are you kidding me?
Not only is he adorable but he is kind, and funny, and we just have a wonderful time together. And actually when the weekend is over and we have the markets, it is hard to say goodbye.
She responded with rolling her eyes. I actually get a chuckle each and every time I think of her eyes rolling back and was almost disgusted. Poor sweet lady
Well, my time is up, I need to go get some items ready for the market.. Thanks for ready my rambling and have a beautiful week / Season !!
